Our 1st Family Vacation – E & D Sitting in a Tree

Our 1st Family Vacation

It’s been almost 3 months since our first family vacation and I’m still smitten about it. Lil Bean got a chance to meet so many Disney characters. My parents and D’s parents got their first taste of Disney World. And D and I made some wonderful memories with our baby girl. It was magical and I can’t wait to go on vacation again.

In my last post I shared a handful of helpful tips and tricks for those of you traveling to the house of mouse. I also have an older post from a year ago with more tips and tricks, if you’re itching for more information.

Yes, Disney World is pricey. But there are plenty of ways to lessen the ding on your pocketbook. For example, definitely check out renting a vacation home if you’re with a bigger group. If you’ve got a stroller, think about carrying snacks and drinks with you. And check your local AAA for discounted tickets or your HR department. For tips and tricks that’ll make the trip easier, take advantage of the Disney World app to check wait times, fastpass+ availability, and show times. You can even use the app to find characters, dining spots, and for select dining options you can order ahead of time and pick up. Pretty nifty, huh? Another tip that might be worth it, download the Disney Shop Parks app. You never know if you’ll find a t-shirt you like only to realize the store you’re in don’t carry your size. Have no fear! The Disney Shop Parks app lets you find that item and tells you where you can pick it up. We did this for D when he found a sweater he liked and just had to have it.

Alright, enough tips. I know you’re dying to see them so here are a few of our photos!!! Haha. I love flipping through these. Keeps me smitten!

‘Til the next time.
– E
